Kunisaiga Christmas baubles

Service Description

Kinusaiga is a Japanese craft art form where colourful fabric scraps are tucked into carved grooves on a base board to create detailed, mosaic-like pictures without any sewing. In this instance we will use polystyrene star and bauble shapes (approx. 5” diameter) to create beautiful Christmas Ornaments from Japanese Fabrics. You will create two baubles in this workshop, and if you don't quite get to finish the second in the time available you'll be able to take away materials to complete it in your own time. No previous experience needed – all tools, templates and materials provided in this 3 hour workshop
