By bus or train
Stocksfield is well-served by public transport with the Go North East 10 between Newcastle and Hexham (serving the MetroCentre, Blaydon, Ryton, Prudhoe, Riding Mill and Corbridge) and Northern Trains between Newcastle and Carlisle both serving the village. Stocksfield Craft Barn is less than half a mile from the bus stop and train station, a flat walk along a scenic countryside road with a dedicated pavement.
If travelling by bus, alight at Stocksfield Railway Station stop then go through the station car park onto platform 2, and cross over the foot bridge to platform 1. Similarly if you are arriving by train from Newcastle, cross over the foot bridge to platform 1.
On platform 1, make your way past the shelter and at the far end of the platform there is pedestrian access to the B6309. Turn right into the road and follow it along until you reach the Business Park. Follow the road as it bears to the left then on the right there is a cobbled area between two sets of buildings.
